This contract is effective as of September 1st, 2023 by and between the provider: Marina Mortoglou / Marina Arena LLC / DjMARiNAREMiXX and the client: Melanie Svoboda. By providing your typed/signed name below as an e-signature, you are consenting to the terms of this legally binding contract.
Description of Services
Beginning on Friday, September 8th, 2023, MARINA ARENA, LLC will provide Disc Jockey services to the client, Melanie Svoboda, for Kelly & Mitch's Wedding located at 14475 Lakeview Circle, Shakopee, MN. beginning at/around 3/3:30pm, ending at/around 10pm, for a total of approximately 6.5-7 (six and a half to seven) continuous hours at the cost of $1218.00 (twelve hundred and eighteen dollars).
Stipulations/Terms

Client is to allow DJ access to the event center/location prior to and after the event for set up & take down.

Outlets and electricity provisions are to be provided by and paid for by the client.

DJ requires drinking water and restroom facilities on site.

No attendees, event personnel, event site employees, including the client, guests or staff shall touch, tamper with, or misuse any of Marina Mortoglou's DJ equipment. This includes but is not limited to: Laptops, mixers, soundboards, amplifiers, speakers, subwoofers, speaker stands, cords, microphones, chargers, launch pads, turntables, lights, tables, smoke machines, and any other equipment owned by the DJ.

If damage of any of the above mentioned equipment, or any other equipment provided by the DJ occurs, the client, Melanie Svoboda, is responsible for the cost to repair/replace equipment, & must do so within sixty (60) days.

MARINA ARENA, LLC is not responsible for any injury, death, or accident caused by event attendees touching, tampering with, or otherwise misusing equipment.

CoVid-19 specific requirements: If deemed necessary the DJ, Marina Mortoglou will be allowed to wear a facemask and protective eyewear and maintain social distance from guests & members of the wedding party. Additionally the DJ will be allowed to alter/move location of the DJ booth and equipment as deemed necessary for social distance, and put up plexiglass and/or protective barriers as necessary. If song requests are made, they are to be made via text message so as to minimize social interaction. Please allow time for sanitization between uses of commonly handled or shared equipment, such as microphones during speeches for example.
Payment
In exchange for event services, Melanie Svoboda will pay compensation to Marina Mortoglou / MARINA ARENA, LLC in the amount of $1218.00 (twelve hundred & eighteen dollars). Of which, $100 (one hundred dollars) has already been paid as a non-refundable deposit. 75% of the total balance is due within 48 hours prior to the date of service ($840 due on 9/6/23), and the remainder of the balance is due on the day of service ($278 due September 8th, 2023) unless a pre-arranged, written & signed agreement is made.

Cancellation Policy
Both client and DJ can cancel this contract at any time, for any reason. However, the following stipulations will apply;

All deposit fees are non-refundable ($100).

A minimum of twenty-four (24) hours notice will be required to cancel this contract.

Any cancellation made within less than (24) twenty-four hours notice prior to the agreed upon date of services will result in full payment of balance of $1118.00 by the Kelly Svoboda to Marina Mortoglou within two (2) weeks.

If cancellation is made by Marina Mortoglou, all monies paid prior to event will be refunded within two (2) weeks from cancellation date, reason must be very extreme in nature, & fill-in attempts must be made.

Any natural disaster or in-climate weather attributing to the cancellation of this event will result in refund of 50% DJ hourly rate of any missed hours, unless event can safely be moved/relocated to a safe and reasonable location on the same day.
Agreement
By providing my typed/signed name below, I acknowledge that I understand and am in agreement with the above mentioned terms, and will comply fully with the stipulations of this contract.
